This project is a collection of pieces from my time studying abroad in England and Wales. While taking inspiration from their design styles, I collected little things and papers and scanned them when I got back. These materials include maps, wrappers, bags, and more. I chose the colors red and blue because those are the colors I noticed the most within their designs, representing the immense pride that they have for their country. Through everyday items like paper gift bags and maps, I am able to create my own art by seeing the beauty in average items. At the same time, I am also highlighting little snapshots of the design elements that caught my eye when I was there.
